FAQ'S
Q: What are your COVID-19 protocols or requirements?
A: We are following North Carolina and CDC guidelines for our event. We do not require proof of vaccination for entry. We will provide hand-sanitizer. **If you are feeling sick, experiencing any flu-like symptoms, or are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of the event -- please Stay Home and Do Not put your own or others' health at risk!**
Q: Is there a Battleship party for the 2022 Salsa Splash?
A: With current venue restrictions, unfortunately we could not return to our beloved USS North Carolina for the 2022 event. However, we hope to be rocking on the deck of the ship again in 2023!
Q: Is there a beach party?
A: Due to the Town of Wrightsville Beach's restrictions on issuing any new seasonal permits for public events aside from weddings, we are unable to host an official beach party. While we are not able to designate a location, time or shuttle service to the beach, the beach is still open for you all to go and have fun in the sun throughout the weekend!☀️
Q: Can I purchase individual workshops a-la-carte?
A: Yes! All workshops are available to purchase individually.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: No! All are welcome and kids ages 12 & under are free. The parties do go late so keep this in mind if you plan on bringing your tiny dancers!
Q: I'm from out of town and I notice the event happens at a few different locations over the weekend. Is there a shuttle service?
A: No - however, carpooling, taxi, and Uber are all great options for getting around town!
Q: Where do you recommend I stay for the weekend?
A: There are lots of hotel & weekend beach rentals available in Wilmington & Wrightsville Beach! If you missed booking on our group hotel rates, most hotels in town are within 5-20 minutes of any portion of the event. It's a small town - you won't be far wherever you stay :)
Q: Will there be food and/or drinks available for purchase?
A: Water is provided at no charge during the parties. Unfortunately alcohol will not be available at UNCW Burney Center. We strive to have a food truck on site during the evening parties; however, this is subject to venue restrictions and/or inclement weather.
